"Bright... Yourself"

Aesthetic medicine involves performing medical procedures without the need for a scalpel or, in most cases, general anesthesia.

Each person has their own skin, context, needs and particularities. For this reason, the aesthetic medicine consultation should be a time for listening, understanding your expectations and proposing a specific solution.

As far as I'm concerned, an aesthetic procedure is successful when no one can guess that an operation has been carried out and you naturally radiate radiance, beauty and well-being.

Nota Bene

Aesthetics is currently only available at my practice in Belgium.

Peelings: Glycolic Acid, TCA

A peel is a medical treatment that renews the skin by eliminating dead cells, stimulating the production of younger, more radiant skin. By activating fibroblasts, it also improves tissue hydration and volume.

There are different types of peel, including glycolic acid and TCA peels, performed in the office with recognized brands (Dermaceutics, Mene & Moy), without the need for general anesthesia or social eviction.

Used correctly, peels reduce fine lines, hyperpigmentation and light scarring, and improve skin radiance, helping to prevent skin aging.

Injectables: Hyaluronic Acid, Botox

Injectables include products administered by needles or microneedles, mainly hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin. Botulinum toxin, used to reduce expression lines in the upper face, prevents muscle contraction, offering a temporary (4 to 6 months) and reversible effect. It can also be used to lift the corners of the mouth and treat hyperhidrosis.

Hyaluronic acid, naturally present in the body, hydrates and adds volume to the skin. In aesthetic medicine, it is used to fill static wrinkles, restore volume to the face, and refresh the skin's radiance. Its effects appear after a few days and last from 6 to 24 months. All products used in the practice are approved and biodegradable.

Medical Laser Hair Removal

The medical laser used for permanent hair removal provides precise, virtually pain-free hair removal under the supervision of trained physicians. More effective than Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), the Soprano Ice laser from Alma Lasers is suitable for all skin types.

A session begins with eye protection and the application of a gel. The area to be treated must be shaved two days beforehand, and sensations of cold or heat may be felt. Hair falls out in 10 to 15 days, then grows back more slowly and less densely.

On average, 8 to 10 sessions are required, spaced 3 to 6 weeks apart to target hair in the growth phase. Although treated hairs no longer grow back, maintenance sessions may be necessary for new hairs due to hormonal changes.

Alopecia Check-Up

Alopecia, or hair loss, can be the result of a variety of causes, and as such, treatment is not limited to FUE or hair transplants!

Hair loss can be due to deficiencies (iron, vitamins, etc.), hormonal disorders (thyroid problems, etc.), genetics, toxicity, etc. Each case of alopecia and/or its prevention requires special care, with a specific assessment to optimize treatment and results.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a medical technique that involves injecting small quantities of active substances (drugs, vitamins, amino acids, etc.) directly into the skin or subcutaneous tissue, using very fine needles.

When the active substance is the patient's own plasma, it is called PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma). This technique therefore combines active ingredients with a stimulating mechanical effect (rather like acupuncture).

It is used for a variety of indications, such as:
- Aesthetics: treatment of wrinkles, skin hydration, improvement of skin quality, reduction of cellulite or localized fat.
- Medical: pain relief (particularly in the case of musculoskeletal disorders) or treatment of certain circulatory problems.
